Scottish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Griogair Labhruidh [lou-ree] is a contemporary recording artist strongly rooted in tradition. Coming from a long line of Highland musicians, his music stems from a quest to express his insights and ideas about spirituality, belonging, nature, and creativity in a modern musical context while paying homage to his Scottish heritage in his own personal way. Griogair uniquely combines Gaelic music with influences as eclectic as African music, soul, hip hop, and jazz.
An award-winning Gaelic singer, internationally recognized for his voice, Griogair has worked with Emmy & BAFTA award-winning composer, Bear McCreary, featuring on the 6th season main title and soundtrack of the global series sensation Outlander.
